MANCHESTER, N.H. – Sr. Marguerite Gregoire, pm, 75, of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, Manchester, N.H., died Jan. 16, 2023. She was born in Lewiston, Maine on May 18, 1947, to Rosario and Rita (Pelletier) Gregoire. She made her religious profession in 1969 and served with the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary for 53 years.

Sr. Marguerite earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a master’s degree in Biology and Theology (Pastoral Ministry). She taught in various elementary and high schools in Maine and Massachusetts. She was a pastoral associate in Maine and Massachusetts and assisted the poor in Maine. Failing health brought her to the infirmary in Methuen, Mass. in 2007 and later to St. Joseph Residence in Manchester, N.H. in 2013.

She was predeceased by her parents; and a brother, Paul Gregoire.

Sr. Marguerite is survived by four siblings, Daniel Gregoire and his wife Jo-Ann, Rosaire Gregoire, Mark Gregoire and Annette Gregoire, a sister-in-law, Pauline Gregoire and nieces and nephews.

A calling hour is Monday, Jan. 23, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. followed immediately at 10:30 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial, all in the Resurrection Chapel of St. Marie Residence, 495 Mammoth Rd., Manchester, NH.

Private burial will be at Presentation of Mary Cemetery in Hudson, NH.
