Robert Hamm

MEXICO – Mr. Robert Hamm, 78, died Thursday Feb. 2, 2023, at his residence in Mexico.

Born in Denver, Colorado, on Aug. 17, 1944, he was a son of Thomas and Lura Lorraine (Nelson) Hamm. Robert earned his Master’s Degree in Sociology and worked for area schools as a guidance counselor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors.

Robert is survived by his longtime companion Kristen Scott of Mexico, a brother Thomas Hamm and wife Diane of Cary, N.C., son: Jon Hamm, his children: Spencer Hamm of Raleigh, N.C.; Kaila (Hamm) Flippen married to Antoine Flippen of Fayetteville, N.C.; Isabelle Hamm of Charlotte, N.C.; and Stella Hamm of Apex, N.C. A sister Barbara Mitchell of Arvada, Colo. Her children: Marilyn Ann Mitchell married to David Leigh Aldridge with children Zachery David Aldridge and Jamie Leigh Aldridge.
