We had some interesting incorrect answers to last week’s Mystery Photo, while a handful correctly identified the sign at the entrance of Hemond’s MX & Offroad Park on Woodman Hill Road in Minot. In a random drawing from all the correct entries, Candi Gilpatric of Minot was picked as the winner of the $20 Hannaford Supermarket gift card. She lives down the road and is a good friend of the Hemond family. When contacted about winning, Candi shared that her best friend is a frequent player and past winner of the Mystery Contest. Candi said that when she saw the photo in last week’s Sun Journal, she called her friend to tell her she knew where the Mystery Photo was taken. Now, she says, she can’t wait to tell her friend that she won.
