NORWAY — Staff from the Norway Center for Health & Rehabilitation presented the Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine with beautiful patient comfort baskets on February 17 in recognition of Random Acts of Kindness Day. Staff and residents held a month-long drive to fill multiple baskets with a variety of personal care products such as shampoo, toothbrushes, soaps, and lotions; as well as cleaning supplies, writing journals, socks, and other personal items to help make life a little easier for patients living with cancer. “We are very grateful for the generosity and efforts of the staff at the Norway Center for Health & Rehabilitation,” said Diane Madden, the Executive Director of the Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine. “It is obvious that a lot of thought and love went into making each basket.”
