Willie A. Blanchette Jr.

LEWISTON – Willie A. Blanchette Jr., 82, of Oxford passed away on March 2, 2023, at CMMC in Lewiston. He was born on Jan. 30, 1941, a son of the late Willie and Armadena Blanchette. He grew up in the Lewiston area and attended local schools.

Willie later joined both the Navy and Air Force and proudly served his country.

He married Celia Mansano and the two spent many wonderful years together.

He will always be remembered for his love of the ocean, fishing, sailing, riding his Harley and collecting motorcycle and military memorabilia. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife Celia of Florida, as well as his three daughters Lisa, Linda and Tammy and his two sons, Bill and Dean. He also leaves behind his brother, Roger and his two sisters, Anita and Marie. He was predeceased by his sister, Elaine Wark.
