WATERVILLE — Seventeen JKA Maine Karate Academy students won 32 medals at the Battle of Maine on March 25.

JKA Maine Karate Academy won 11 gold medals, 10 silver medals, six bronze medals, three fourth-place finishes, and Senpai Michael Umayam won the grand championship in the both Kata and Kobudo competitions.
