OTISFIELD — If it’s the third Wednesday of the month, it must be Otisfield’s Community Lunch. April 19 from 11:30-12:30 at the Community Hall, the Social Outreach Committee hosts its first Spring Lunch of the year. The menu features baked ham, potatoes, sweet potatoes, peas, salads, rolls, and cake for dessert. The meal is free. Donations are appreciated and make this a self-supporting event. The Community Hall is located at 292 Route 121. Please consider inviting a friend, a neighbor, or anyone who might enjoy getting out.

SUMNER — Pies, plants, and beanhole baked beans. Join the crowd at the Congregational Church of East Sumner on May 20, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., for their annual spring sale. There will be more than a dozen local crafters, hundreds of perennials, raffle baskets, seedlings, baked goods, frozen chicken pies, and chicken vegetable pot pies for sale. The beanhole beans will be offered for lunch with hot dogs and can be purchased in To-Go containers. Rain or shine. Rte. 219 in East Sumner village. For more information, call Cyndy at 388-2667.
