The Maine Wildlife Park Community Pass, offered at Rumford Public Library, allows up to seven people a day access to the park for a discounted fee of $3.50 per person when the pass is presented at the gatehouse.
Children younger than 3 can enter the park for free.
The pass can be used during the 2023 season through Nov. 11. The park is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., visitors may stay until 6 p.m., and the park is located at 56 Game Farm Road off Route 26 in Gray, according to a news release from the library.
The pass is offered n a first-come, first-served basis to library patrons in good standing along with citizens of Rumford, Byron Hanover and Roxbury, and can be reserved in person up to a week in advance.
To obtain a pass, visit the library at 56 Rumford Ave. While all members of the party do not need to be present to get the pass, those requesting the pass should be prepared to give the names of those in the party up to seven people.
The community pass was purchased using donations to the Friends of the Rumford Public Library.
