LEWISTON— Police responded to an apparent drive-by shooting in the College and Union streets area at 7:47 p.m. Friday, according to police officials.

While none were injured in the shooting, several vehicles were hit and “a number of shell casings were found near (that) intersection,” said Lewiston Police Department spokesman Lt. Derrick St. Laurent.

Police continue to investigate and are reviewing camera footage from around the area. The attack does not appear to be random, St. Laurent said.

Police are asking anyone with information related to the incident to call Detective Crystal Lachance at 207-513-3001 ext. 3310.
