Painted rocks form Roscoe the Snake on June 22 on the front lawn of the Mexico Town Office at 134 Main St. Town Manager Raquel Welch-Day said she started the artwork after seeing something similar on Facebook. “Everyday we go out and look to see what’s been added,” she said. “We have no idea when they’re doing it. Maybe at night? We want to see how long it’s going to get.” The sign was made by Welch-Day and the head painted by Town Clerk Tami Vradenburgh. “It’s just something cool to do,” Welch-Day said.
