AUBURN — Police were investigating a four-vehicle crash on Center Street late Friday morning that sent two people to the hospital with minor injuries.

The crash occurred in front of Wendy’s about 11 a.m., but circumstances were not immediately clear. One woman who stopped to help the victims said the motorcycle briefly went airborne following the collision.

The motorcyclist was taken to a Lewiston hospital with what were described as minor injuries. The driver of one of the cars was also examined for a complaint of pain. Police said no charges are expected, though the crash remained under investigation later Friday.

The names of those involved were not available.
