LOVELL — The Lovell Historical Society will present a Fall Harvest Festival on Sunday, Oct. 15, from 1 to 4 p.m. This event should have something of interest for all members of the family. There will be fall craft activities for children, dealers will be selling their wares, and weavers and spinners will demonstrate their craft. Additionally, traditional “fiddle” music will be performed by “Birds on a Wire.”
Inside the ell of the 1839 Moses Hutchins House, which serves as the Research Center, there will be a pie sale and an abundant refreshment table. The Society’s Museum, situated in the recently restored main house, will be open for viewing. Anyone interested is warmly invited to attend this festival. The Society is located at 551 Main Street (Route 5) opposite the Lake Kezar Country Club. The event is free and open to the public.
