Pine Tree Power is a political ploy.

It is to become a platform for Southern New England’s quest for “clean energy.”

For the last 10 years, politicians have used its regulatory authority to contract more wind, solar and battery storage using the investor-owned public utilities (Central Maine Power and Versant) as the middleman.

The middleman role would be taken over by politicians, who would justify added costs attributable to the pursuit of “green.”

The leader of this Pine Tree Power movement was one Seth Berry, whose “green pursuit” has no limits.

This, along with the billion-dollar-plus Aroostook Wind/Transmission project would be the bankruptcy of Maine’s electricity consumers.

Pine Tree Power is a politically initiated endeavor. Maine’s current Legislature is politically motivated and influenced by wind, solar and battery storage developers.

Voters should put two and two together.
