I’m writing to express my strong support for Susan Longchamps for Ward 2 Lewiston city councilor.

Our current council is stuck, mired in the past, with arguments and missed opportunities all too frequent. Longchamps is a proven problem solver, an amazing listener and a clear thinker, able in the course of her business to see solutions and implement them.

She tempers caring and supportiveness, with the ability to be tough and hold others accountable as needed.

Longchamps has shown the ability to face obstacles as challenges to be overcome, not avoided. She has, through her actions over the years, demonstrated her love of Lewiston, using her boundless energy to put herself, her time and her money on the line toward bringing her neighborhood and city into the hopeful future she clearly sees.

Longchamps would help the City Council get unstuck, face and solve problems, and finally, move us forward.
