Lori Bortell

LISBON – Lori Bortell, 56, devoted mother and grandmother passed away from cancer Oct. 15, 2023, with her family by her side at Marshwood Center.

She was born July 3 1967, in Portland, to Aurther E. Bortell and Lucy M. (Espozito) Bortell. Lori graduated from Windham High School in 1985 and later went on to get a degree in human services from CMCC.

She is survived by her two brothers, Arthur and Craig Bortell. Also by her children, William Kemp and wife Ashley, Sarah-Ann Bouthot and husband Robert, Michael Kemp, Devan LePage, and Nicholas Crosson; her grandchildren, Brooklynn, Cayleigh, Ava, Jacob, Rylie, Lexus, Arielle, Davian, Raelynn, Isabel, Jay’Den, Ja’Kai, Mya, Nathalie, and Alicia.

She wanted her family to know she loved them all very much. Especially her grandchildren who she was very proud of.

A small service will be held for immediate family at the Bortell plot in Dolley Cemetery.
