Current Lewiston Mayor Carl Sheline has for many years been a community-engaged business owner.
He has admirably continued and broadened his concern for the community as an elected official, attending community events and regularly talking with a variety of people on the streets — he listens, and learns from them.
Additionally, he works diligently with City Council members and City Hall staff to help address troublesome community issues. These include lodging for the elderly and the unhoused, and the revitalization of areas close to business centers.
Carl also supports our youth in schools, community forums, and programs of the Youth Advisory Council. He understands the need to assist recent immigrants who are working to participate in Lewiston’s growth.
By no means least, he encourages and visibly supports projects that encourage recreation, cultural enjoyment and civic pride.
I strongly encourage voters to support Carl’s reelection for a vibrant, thriving, caring city.
