Craft Fairs
PARIS — The First Congregational Church of Paris, 17 E. Main Street, is holding its annual Christmas Fair on Saturday, Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Popovers will be served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Our food tables are filled with great baked goods – cookies, pies, breads, etc, plus baked beans, homemade vanilla, and interesting other types of homemade items.
The cheese wheel is waiting to be sliced, the chocolates are boxed. Wreaths and Christmas baskets will be ready. Plus our crafts table will be filled with some regular and new items specially made for the fair.
Specially designed and priced for kids, a jewelry table for children to shop for the special women in their lives – moms, grandmothers, teachers, etc. The jewelry is all boxed and ready for wrapping.
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., after you have shopped, enjoy a cup of fish chowder or chicken soup – dessert also included. Last year, our wreaths sold out, so get here early. We hope you will join us and bring your children to enjoy shopping at our Christmas Fair.
PARIS — Boy Scout Troop 130 will be holding a Craft & Vendor Fair at the Paris Fire Station, 137 Western Ave, South Paris, on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Crafters and vendors will be offering wooden items, Thanksgiving center pieces, jewelry, knit items, candy bouquets, Scentsy and more.
The Boy Scouts will also have a ticket raffle for a record player, single serve coffee maker, hand-made queen size Afghan and many other items. Entry is free. Lunch and baked goods will be available to purchase from the Scouts.
Money received by Boy Scout Troop 130 will help pay for merit badges and leadership patches the Scouts earn.
