A recent article highlighting the record-setting $100,000 raised by Rep. Laurel Libby described her as an “arch-conservative” in the Maine State House.

I’d like to add a little kick to that endorsement. Laurel Libby is the real deal.

She leads from the front. She’s working to conserve our rights as they exist under the Constitutions of both Maine and the United States. She’s an independent thinker who doesn’t march to the dictates of either the progressive agenda (directed by forces outside of the state and certainly outside of Auburn) or the Republican Party.

Rep. Libby is poised and thoughtful, and truly wants to bring our voices to Augusta. She is a voice of reason and a stalwart for an American ideal that we can all share and promote with pride.

For these reasons and more, I’m one of those who contributed toward that $100,000. She’s earned our vote this November.
