On Feb. 13, the day before Valentine’s Day (known as “Galentine’s Day”), YWCA Central Maine plans to hand-deliver custom gift baskets for its Spread the Love fundraiser.

In 2023, YWCA Central Maine delivered more than 120 gift baskets to individuals and businesses all over the twin cities.

The baskets are stuffed with items like candy, chocolate, baked goods, coffee, soaps, flowers, Maine-made artisan items, and candles.

Special arrangements delivery outside of the Lewiston/Auburn area can be arranged for three baskets or more.

Baskets are offered in small and large sizes, and each will include a special surprise delivery. Small baskets cost $35 and large baskets are $50 — including delivery and a personalized message.

The Spread the Love fundraiser benefits the work of the local YWCA in empowering women and eliminating racism. The YWCA continues to do this work with donations and support.
