BETHEL — Crews were called Monday evening to a house fire at 514 East Bethel Road, according to a Bethel firefighter.

The call came at 5:23 p.m., sending members of the Bethel Fire Department and those offering mutual aid to the scene, the firefighter at the 9 Mill Hill Road station said.

Alerts reported the fire was knocked down shortly before 6 p.m.
