Jeremy Meyers, a member of the JFM Navigators Program, skis Tuesday across Simard-Payne Memorial Park in Lewiston while training for the upcoming Special Olympics competition. Meyers and two other teammates were getting ready for the state competition, hosted by the city of Auburn on Feb. 28 and 29. Alpine skiing events will be held at Lost Valley Ski Area in Auburn. Cross country skiing and snowshoeing will be at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester and speed skating will be held at Norway Savings Bank Arena in Auburn.
