The Thomas E. Lahey Foundation recently awarded scholarships to six scholar-athletes and recent graduates of Lewiston High School, Edward Little High School and St. Dominic Academy.
This year’s scholarship recipients include the following:

Alyssa Marcoux, a graduate of Lewiston High School, attending the University of New England and the daughter of Chris and Bobbie Jo Marcoux of Lewiston;
Julia Perkins, a graduate of Lewiston High, attending University of Maine at Orono, and the daughter of Ann and Timothy Perkins of Lewiston.
Adam Bilodeau, a graduate of Lewiston High, attending St. Michael’s College and the son of Peter and Danielle Bilodeau of Lewiston.

Colby Levasseur, a graduate of St. Dominic Academy, attending the Assumption University and the son of Melissa and Shane Levasseur of Auburn.
Cassidy Campbell, a graduate of Edward Little High School, attending Merrimack College and the son of Greg and Lana Cassidy of Auburn.
Owen Vincent, a graduate of Edward Little High, attending Lehigh University and the son of Shawn and Andrea Vincent of Auburn.

The mission of the foundation is to assist local youth in their pursuit of further education. Since its inception in 1987, the foundation has each year awarded scholarships to graduates of local high schools. The main fundraising efforts have included private donations, a golf tournament and a bowling tournament.
