Racers prepare to take off at the start of the indoor course during Saturday’s L-A Harley Indoor Kids Race at L-A Harley-Davidson on Main Street in Lewiston. Sixty riders from ages 2-6 competed in several different bicycle types: balance bikes, bicycles with no pedals and powered by their feet, and two classes of electric bicycles, 12- and 16-inch wheels. After warmups and heat races, winners of the final races were awarded prizes and trophies. A crew from Hemond’s MX & Offroad Park in Minot helped run the event. Russ Dillingham/Sun Journal
