How do Mainers like state government in every aspect of their life? From the cars they will drive, to the stove they can buy and how they heat their home, to the ever-increasing taxation.

In my mind, small government is best. “Live and let live” has always been the Maine way. If people aren’t violating any common sense laws, they’re free to pursue whatever lifestyle they choose. That’s not how it is now.

I support Laurel Libby for state representative. She has a common sense approach.

She prefers personal responsibility — not governmental overreach. She does her homework. A nurse by training, Rep. Libby is compassionate. She is attuned to the plight of elders in our midst. And as a small business owner, she understands the hurdles of small business in this state.

I hope Mainers vote for freedom from government overreach, and vote for Laurel Libby this November.
