Lise L. Harrington

LEWISTON – Our beloved wife, mother, and friend, Lise Lorraine (Malo) Harrington, 66, of Lewiston passed away Feb. 26, 2024, at Central Maine Medical Center.

Lise married her high school sweetheart, Dale on July 10, 1976 shortly after their high school graduation. They laughed their way through 47 years of marriage and stood by each other’s sides through life’s toughest challenges. Lise loved her children, their partners and her grandchildren beyond belief and was so proud of each of them. She never would answer the age old question of, “So who’s the favorite?”

Anyone who knew Lise knew that she was crafty, creative, resourceful and her days were spent at the sewing machine or in her chair crocheting. It was always Christmas for Lise; she never stopped scheming how to make the next Christmas special for her family.

Lise is survived by her husband, Dale; their eight children, Dale Matthew (Jamie), Elise Ashley (Shawn), Joshua (Tara), Eben (Ashlynn), Ethan (Ashley), Joy (Cody), Michael (Rachel), and Zoe (Devon); 17 grandchildren (Green, Cody, Caden, Lily, Wyatt, Megan, Phoebe, Riley-Allen, Nova, Khloe, Timmy, Kira, Kalie-Ella, Liam, Emma-Kate, Harmony, and Mallory); her mother Veronique Thibeault; and many cousins and friends that were more like sisters. She will be so dearly missed.

The Harrington family would like to thank the Central Maine Medical Center staff of M4, M1, and the Emergency Department for their compassionate care of Lise.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday March 17, 2024, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., at the funeral home. Black dress not required; Lise loved color.
