Auburn Public Library is set to host the first Margery Eyer Schuler Silent Art Auction on Saturday, March 16, from 10 a.m. to noon in the library’s Androscoggin Community Room, 49 Spring St.
There also will be live music and hors d’oeuvres.
Bidding will conclude at 11:45 a.m. and winners must be present.
Upon her passing, Auburn Public Library customer Schuler bequeathed her vast collection of watercolor paintings to the library, according to a news release from Haley Warden with the library.
Supporters include platinum sponsor Maine Community Bank, gold sponsors Maple Way Dental, Pat’s Pizza of Auburn and Norway Savings Bank, and bronze sponsors Dead River Company, Community Credit Union, The Sign Store and Flag Center, and Lamey Wellehan.
Tickets are available for advance purchase on Eventbrite for $5.
