Claude “Clyde” D. Perron
AUBURN – Claude “Clyde” D. Perron, 88, of Lewiston peacefully passed away at Bolster Heights in Auburn on Monday March 25, 2024. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be deeply missed. He was born in Lewiston on September 24, 1935 a son of the late Arthur and Blanche (Huard) Perron.
After being educated in Lewiston schools, he went to work in local shoe shops where he worked as a manufacturer. On November 26, 1960 he married Patricia Fournier and they started a family together. The two of them had 45 wonderful years together until her passing on October 16, 2005.
He always loved taking a drive to go fishing, working in his garden, turning up the radio to listen to his music, and enjoyed having a cold one! He was always there for a visit or a chat and would “tell it like it was.”
He is survived by his four children; Michael Perron, Lisa Thibault and twins, Joline Perron and Joanna Long and her husband Chris. He also leaves behind his eight grandchildren; Scott, Shannon, Sarah, Sierra, Derek, Jaymi, Brandon and Emily along with several great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his loving wife Patricia and all of his seven brothers and sisters; Marcel, Jimmy, Ronnie, Normand, Paul, Doraine and Liane.

A graveside service will be held at a later date in the spring at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Lewiston where he will be laid to rest with his wife Patricia. Arrangements are under the care of Albert & Burpee Funeral Home & Cremation Services 253 Pine St. Lewiston, 782-7201.
