Evelyn Berube

AUBURN – Evelyn Berube, 86, of Lewiston, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 29, 2024.

She was born on March 19, 1938, a daughter to Earl and Louise Perkins. She was raised in Auburn and attended local schools. In her career, she was a Fancy Stitcher in local shoe shops.

She was a strong and courageous woman and will be greatly missed.

Evelyn was predeceased by her parents; her first late husband, Myron Herrick and her second, Tony Berube.

She leaves behind her daughter, Kim Herrick; her sister, Sandra Strout, her brother, Leonard Perkins; as well as her stepdaughters April Cyr, Nona, Kelly Perry; many nieces and nephews; and the rest of her entire family which she loved greatly. Lastly, she leaves behind her beloved cat, Emmy.

Visitation for Evelyn will be held at The Fortin Group in Auburn on Wednesday, April 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by an in house memorial service at 1 p.m.
