Travis Tardif

LEWISTON — The city has appointed Travis Tardif its new building and plumbing inspector in the Planning and Code Enforcement Department.

Tardif is among code enforcement staff who oversee the more than 5,000 enforcement inspections annually in Lewiston and other pertinent state laws related to buildings and structures within the city.

Tardif has been with Lewiston since 2021 as a code enforcement officer.

He holds various certifications, including Maine Land Use Planning, Maine Shoreland Zoning, Maine Internal Plumbing, Maine Subsurface Wastewater Disposal, Residential Construction, and NSPIRE Section 8 Inspector. Also, Tardif has served as a member of the Planning Board for Livermore since 2020, where from 2017-2020 he served as a code enforcement officer.
