Nonprofit organizations in Lewiston and Wilton are among 44 receiving more than $140,000 in grants through Bangor Savings Bank Foundation’s Community Matters More program.

Locally, Community Concepts of Lewiston is receiving $5,000; Literacy Volunteers — Androscoggin of Lewiston, $4,000; Western Maine Play Museum of Wilton, $3,000; and the Greater Androscoggin Human Society of Lewiston, $1,000.
