Attic treasures, household goods, books, puzzles and much more will be displayed on the front lawn. There will also be a bake sale. Raffle tickets will be on sale for a quilt and a wooden chest, both handcrafted by church members; tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10.

We would like to invite all children ages 4 to grade 6 from Poland and surrounding towns to come enjoy a week of learning and play at this year’s “Olympian Kids Camp” at Poland Baptist Church, 874 Maine St. (Route 26) in Poland on June 24-28 from 9-11:30 a.m.

ANSWER: I remember when my kids went to Vacation Bible School. They really looked forward to it and the ladies in charge of the lessons, fun and snacks were so good to them. Kids need to have different experiences and a way to meet others in their peer groups. This is a great way to have that happen and gives them some time away from their electronic devices too!
DEAR SUN SPOTS: There will be a Baked Bean Supper at Sixth St. Congregational Church at 109 Sixth St. in Auburn on Saturday, June 29 from 4:30-6 p.m.
The menu includes two kinds of beans, brown bread, cole slaw, red and brown hot dogs, assorted casseroles, assorted desserts, and beverages. The cost is $9 for adults, $5 for children 5 to 12, and free for those under age 5. Take-out is available and all are welcome. — Elizabeth, no town

DEAR SUN SPOTS: The J & O Irish Museum on Main Street/Route 140 in Hartford is having a Yard Sale on June 29 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a June 30 rain date.
The sale will be held on the lawn. We would love to have others join us. You can bring your own table and pop-up canopy. The fee is $10 per table.
We are also looking for donations for our tables and can collect items in advance and store them in the barn. If you have items to donate, please call Rosie at 597-2270, Natasha at 212-9350, or Doreen at 224-7147. All proceeds from these fundraisers go to restoring the museum. — Doreen, Hartford
