LEWISTON — Lewiston Public Works has begun its Farwell Street project, which includes pavement milling, repaving and sidewalk reconstruction.
Paving will extend from Connector Road to Webster Street, and sidewalk reconstruction will be from Charles Street to Webster Street.
Delays are expected, and detours may be utilized for work zone safety purposes. One lane roads will be common, with flaggers providing guidance for alternating traffic. When traveling through the work area, motorists are asked to drive slowly and safely.
