LEWISTON — The city is looking for a volunteer to serve as on the Lake Auburn Watershed Protection Commission.
Interested city residents may apply at the City Clerk’s Department, 27 Pine St., weekdays from 8:30 a.m. 4 p.m. The application form is also available on the city’s website at lewistonmaine.gov/boardservice. The deadline to submit an application is Tuesday at 4 p.m.
The purpose of the commission is to maintain safe and healthful environmental conditions within the Lake Auburn watershed, prevent and control water pollution, and protect and maintain the quality and volume of potable water supplied from the Lake Auburn watershed.
