LEWISTON — Hearing Loss Association of America’s DownEast Chapter of Maine invites those with hearing loss and family and friends to an event set for noon Thursday, July 18, at the Maine MILL — Museum of Innovation, Learning and Labor, 35 Canal St.
Those who attend can tour the museum, exploring how life, labor and culture from the past can shape the present and influence the future.
For the benefit of those with hearing loss, the association will be experimenting with a touring assistive hearing system, but hearing people are invited as well, according to a news release from Margaret Myatt with the association.
After the tour, the group will convene at Da Vinci’s Restaurant, a four-minute walk from the museum.
