AUBURN — A car crashed into a porch Tuesday morning on Third Street, according to police.
A utility truck was traveling south on Third Street and making a left turn onto Roak Street at about 10:41 a.m., Lt. Anthony Harrington said.
At the same time, a 2005 Honda Accord driven by Juan Toaquiza Ugsha, 29, of Lewiston was traveling north on Third Street — exceeding the speed limit — and swerved to avoid the utility truck, Harrington said.
The car went off the road, struck a sign, then hit the porch of a building at 104 Third St., Harrington said.
There were no reported injuries, he said.
