William Scott injured his left hand Wednesday in Wilton when it caught in the carding machine which he was cleaning so that it was necessary to amputate his index and second fingers.
50 Years Ago: 1974
Mr. and Mrs. James B. Miner, two associates of Mrs. Debbie Dortzbach, the nurse who was kidnapped in Ethiopia early this summer, and of Miss Anna Strik Verda, who was killed in the same attack, will tell the story of their experiences Wednesday, August 7 at Trinity Orthodox Presbyterian Church, 91 College Street, Lewiston. The public is cordially invited.
