
Richard Henry Jr.
ROXBURY – Richard Henry Jr., 69, died Tuesday July 30, 2024, at his residence in Roxbury.
Richard was born in Farmington, on Feb. 15, 1955, and was a son of Richard and Grace (Brooks) Henry, Sr. He attended Mexico Schools and served as a sargeant in the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked as a Production Technician for Nissan.
Richard enjoyed playing guitar and spending time with family, singing old country and western and gospel music, camping, boating and sitting on his front porch.
He was married in Tennessee on Aug. 18, 1984, to Judy Talbert who survives of Roxbury. Other survivors include a son Richard Henry, III and wife Kelly of Rumford, daughters, LeAnn Kenny and husband Lenny of Auburn and Traci Martin and husband Derek of Tennessee, grandchildren Taylor Henry, Kegan Kenny, Logan Kenny, Jacob Miller, Tanner Henry and Caleb Miller, sisters Brenda Bracy and Shirley Henry and partner Dennis of Farmington, brothers Chuck Henry and wife Jan of Florida and Harold Henry and wife Naomi of Farmington and his fur babies Buddy and Holly and loved his many nieces, nephews, friends and family.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024, at the Knotty Moose in Roxbury. Interment will be at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Mount Vernon Road in Augusta on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2024, at 10 a.m. Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader & Son Funeral Home, Rumford.
