NORWAY — A lawn care business at and a mental health therapy office at were approved by the Norway Planning Board on Aug. 8.

Aric Howard will be operating a home-based business, My Lawn Guy, at 22 Summer St. Howard said he has been in lawn care for 10 years and is looking to open his own outfit.

“I offer a cheaper rate than the bigger guys,” he said. “But I’ve got the experience and the motivation to make a successful business.”

Howard will store his equipment — a lawnmower, backpack mower and a weed wacker — at the residence. Then, maybe a 10-or 12-foot trailer will be added at some point.

“That’d pretty much be it,” Howard said.

Tammy Dignan and two other business partners are opening a mental health therapy office at 33 Fair Street with space for art therapy. Dignan is moving into a space where there was formerly a real estate office so there was no change of use necessary.

The therapy office will occupy the whole first floor, Dignan said.

The Norway Planning Board will next meet at 7 p.m. Aug. 22.
