To the Editor:
No matter how tough the work, no matter what the weather throws at us, no matter how much stuff needs to be moved, stored, sold, and cleaned up, Bethel Rotarians answer the call to service. What an incredible year it has been preparing for and orchestrating our annual six-day yard sale. A huge thanks to all the Rotarians who invested their precious time to ensure that this event was a success.
The biggest shout-out to the event chair, Scott Parker. Additional hats off thanks to the Bethel Area Chamber staff for supporting the event in many ways and for the use of the bathrooms. Rotarians participating were: Lucy Abbott, Jefrae Alford, Alison & Joe Aloisio, Ellie Andrews, Darlene & Mark Beck, Kit Beebee, Jean & Mitch Benedict, Brenda Blond, Anne Carter, Michele Cole, Kathleen Devore and Marilyn DiFillipo.
Also, Pater Fetchko, Kevin Finley, Tina Wilson, Mary Ellen & Greg Gilbert, Craig Harris, Dan Hart, Glenn Humphrey, Scott Hynek, Rich & Susan Kenney, Scott Lane, Bob Laux, Mac McConathy and his grandson, Dave Murphy, Joan Nichols, Per Nygren, Bruce Powell, Brandy Lee & Michael Rodney, Pat Roma, Lee & Steve Smith, Mary Smith, Mike Steven, Richard Tummon, Tamara Vermette, John Wholey, Steve Wight, Kathleen Willis, Mike and Eva Zeoli, Robin Zinchuk.
We would not be able to do this event without the support of Bethel Kitchen Designs/Charlie Reiss, who generously provides his box truck for all the moving, to the Bahre Family for the use of their lot for parking, to the Hastings Farm and the Zeoli’s for their storage space, the local students who helped move items and, of course, all who come, shopped, and went away with treasures.
See you next year.
