To the Editor: 
Bruce Bryant is deserving of our support for State Senator in District 19. Bruce has served us well previously as both State Senator and State Representative. In those positions, he earned endorsements from organizations such as the Maine AFL-CIO; Maine Council of Senior Citizens; state workers’ union (MSEA-SEIU Local 1989); Sportsman’s Alliance of Maine; Maine League of Conservation Voters (75% rating). Bruce has collected such endorsements by working on, among other things, lowering the costs of heating and drug prescriptions; leading the Labor Caucus; helping to create the River Valley Technology Center to provide education leading to better jobs and new businesses, and the Dirigo Health Insurance program that allowed small businesses to band together to offer better and more affordable health insurance to their employees. Bruce has been a pragmatic legislator willing to work with anyone interested in providing a better future for Mainers.
