I won’t be voting for anyone with an “R” after their name.
On a local level, why would the Republican Party want to put Kerryl Lee Clement as a candidate for the Maine House after he was involved with so much hate and division, accused of violating Maine’s Freedom of Access Law, and subsequently voted off the Lewiston City Council?
While serving as Ward 6 city councilor, he did nothing to advocate for the repair of our Rosedale Street, left in dangerous disrepair after decades of neglect by Public Works.
If he and Donald Trump are elected, it would fit in with the Republican Project 2025 to fire 50,000 civil servants, establish a 15% flat tax on the poor, fire up inflation with tariffs, deport immigrants who are softening worker shortage, and increase tax cuts for the rich.
I will be voting for the best man for the job: Michel Lajoie.
