TURNER —Trustees of Leavitt Institute has announced its 2024 scholarships and awards, a summary of which follows.
Bonney Fund Scholarship – 43 awards totaling $69,000 to Lindsey Bates, Nola Boutaugh, Matthew Brown, Sydney Bullard, Alexander Case, Marley Coburn, Andrew Davis, Keragan Davis, Rebekah Davis, Daniel Delige, Madison Dutil, Morghan Dutil, Marla Eshleman, Emma Fogg, Alex Gaumont, Kayleigh Gilbert, Parker Gilbert, Nola Goodwin, Gavin Holbrook, Camden Jordan, Cara Jordan, Caiden Leavitt, Cassidy Macdonald, Mayla Madison, Zachary Madison, Jake Maheu, Megan Nason, Sarah Perkins, Lauren Powers, Matthew Powers, Ava Pratt, Leonie Quimby, Ethan Ricker, Ethan Rombalski, Blaine Shaw, Reid Sibley, Haid Tanous, Mason Twitchell, Reeve Twitchell, Abigail Varney, Ethan Varney, Hannah Varney and Jessica Zimmerman.
Kilgore Fund Scholarship – One $4,200 scholarship to Emma Fogg.
Edgecomb-Knight Fund – One $2,500 scholarship to Reid Sibley.
Prince Fund – Three scholarships totaling $6,600 to Emma Fogg, Gavin Holbrook and Samantha DeBlois.
Young Fund – Seven scholarships totaling $38,000 to Nola Boutaugh, Noah Carpenter, Andrew Davis, Olivia Doyon, Gabriel Durazo, Brayden Greenlaw, and Rene “Max” Thibault.
Chenard Fund – Seven scholarships totaling $50,000 to Alexis Barkman, Julia Bickford, Sydney Bullard, Hailee Doyon, Rakia Pierre, Reid Sibley, and Sandra Struckman.
Graduation Awards – 13 awards totaling $9,750 to Samantha DeBlois, Lindsey Bates, Cole Johnson, Emily Poland, Aubrey Oakes, Noah Brisson, Emma Beedy, Alexis Barkman (2), Gavin Holbrook, Gabriel Durazo, Julia Bickford, and Jamison Ellis.
The Trustees of Leavitt Institute support the cause of education over and above that provided by School Administrative District 52. This year’s scholarships and graduation prizes totaled $180,050, according to a news release from the institute.
