Given the turmoil and instability that seems to surround our daily lives, I am more cautious about whom we elect to Augusta than ever before. I will vote and support those candidates who offer common sense ideas and solutions that will make Maine great again without bankrupting us.

It is for that reason that I support Lee Clement and his campaign for state Legislature.

I was first introduced to Mr. Clement while we both served as members of the Androscoggin County Budget Committee. His knowledge of how government runs and separating need from want was of great value to me and others on that committee.

Mr. Clement has never been afraid to make hard choices as an elected official, but only after asking tough questions to help others understand that issue.

We need Lee Clement in Augusta, asking questions and weighing the cost versus benefit to all Mainers.
