Ticket Auction in Norway

NORWAY — Second Congregational Church, UCC, 205 Main Street in Norway, will host a ticket auction on Saturday, November 9. Viewing will be from 3-5 p.m., with the auction starting at 5:15 p.m. All funds raised will be used to upgrade our sound system in the church.

Many gift items, collectibles, vintage, homemade baked goods, and more will be available. Save this date, bring your friends and family to this fun auction event. Food and drinks will be available to purchase during the ticket auction. We will have many ticket envelope options to fit every budget. $1 tickets will be available for special items. 50/50 tickets will also be available. You don’t want to miss this great ticket auction!

Famous Chicken pie sale
HARRISON —The Bolsters Mills United Methodist Church will be selling our famous chicken pies and gravy on the third Saturday of this month on Saturday, October 19. Orders for pies will be taken only on the morning of the 19th by calling the Church at 583-9024 between 10 and 11 a.m. Do not leave a message. Please notice the later time for placing orders. Chicken pies must be picked up at the Church, 664 Bolsters Mills Road in Bolsters Mills Village, Harrison between 1 and 2 p.m., unless arrangements are made when placing the order.

A famous Chicken pie with gravy is $15. Multiple pies may be ordered; however, we cannot always guarantee that large quantities can be honored, and we may have to limit the number of pies per person this month. The chicken pies are fully cooked and can be frozen and reheated for a future meal.
