MEXICO — A musical afternoon has been rescheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, at Mexico Congregational Church, UCC (the “Green Church”), 163 Main St.
Everyone is invited to the celebration, with hymn singing, numbers by an ecumenical choir, Ukuleles of Weld, guest choirs and a humorous skit. A freewill offering will benefit the church’s flood recovery.
Following the music, a ribbon cutting will reopen the downstairs dining room, which has been rebuilt from last December’s flood. Light refreshments will be served.
For more information, call the church at 207-364-8603 and leave a message after the beep.
