
AUBURN — A few of the writers of “Rivers of Ink: Literary Reflections on the Penobscot” plan to be at the Auburn Public Library, 49 Spring St., at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, to read from their works in the collection.
The anthology that captures the spirit of the river through vivid stories, essays and poems. It features over 60 writers with close ties to the Penobscot region. The work itself is a testament to the river’s influence on Maine’s history, culture and natural environment, drawing on inspiration from the river’s history, landscapes and wildlife.
This program will take place in the Androscoggin Community Room at the library and is open to all ages. No registration is required.
