LIVERMORE FALLS — A public hearing will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 6:30 p.m. at the Livermore Falls Municipal Building to review the General Assistance Ordinance yearly update.

The hearing – required by state law – had been scheduled for Sept. 17, but due to an oversight was not held. The hearing will allow interested parties to hear of proposed changes recommended by the state and ask questions.

The Select Board will meet immediately following the hearing, moved from Nov. 5 because of the elections that day. During the meeting, the board will vote on the proposed changes to the General Assistance Ordinance and other business.
