LEWISTON — Dottie Perham-Whittier has joined the nonprofit Franco Center’s board of directors.
Perham-Whittier comes to the role following a 42-year career with Lewiston. Retiring in August from the role of communications coordinator, she either led or contributed to various projects and initiatives.

Perham-Whittier has worked alongside 14 mayors, as well as engaged with a myriad of city councilors, city administrators, deputy city administrators, and staff, as well as the media, local businesses/organizations, volunteers, residents and visitors. She also provided Lewiston history/government school presentations, supported various mayoral ad hoc committees, served as an administrator for the city’s website, and contributed to the city’s social media platforms, according to a news release from the center.
