POLAND — Polar explorer Eric Larsen, who plans to join a dog sled trek across Alaska next month, will be giving a special presentation at 7 p.m. Monday at the Poland Spring Bottling Museum.

Larsen will talk about his career and the upcoming adventure with musher Jonathan Hayes to match the famed 1925 race to deliver  life-saving medicine to children in Nome, Alaska.

The event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
