To the Editor:

Rightstart’s Christmas for Kids and Christmas for Teens would like to thank Bennett Radio Group – WOXO for the recent fifth annual Radiothon to benefit these two programs. This successful event was a wonderful way to begin our Christmas season.

The team of Stan and Alison Bennett, Corey, and Spencer, spent 13 hours on the radio. They were joined by community representatives who sponsored these hours raising funds for children and teens in our 8 communities of Oxford Hills. Rachel Edwards, and Michelle Campbell, along with Nancy Morrissette, managed the calls coming in throughout the day.

Wheeler’s Insurance sponsored the popular Photobooth, 290 Maine Street Pub provided lunch, and Joe Bornstein sponsored the tote board.

Special thanks as well to our main Sponsor, Dead River Company, plus sponsored hours donors Oxford Federal Credit Union, CAP-NAPA, Farm Dawgz, Dirigo Federal Credit Union, Rolfe Corp, Russell and Son’s Towing, Oxford Plaza/Speedway Inc., Western Maine Steel, Maine Health Stephens Memorial Hospital, Maine Machine Products, Androscoggin Bank, and many individuals, businesses and groups that have helped make this Christmas a very special one for children and teens in the Oxford Hills.
